Start
After an initial meeting, PaintPositive provides a written scope and estimate. We also provide complimentary color consultations. Once colors/sheen are selected, we schedule a time to begin work. We stay on your job and finish as efficiently as possible to minimize disruptions.
Surface Preparation
We prepare the worksite with complete covering of all floors, countertops, walls, and anything else surrounding your cabinets. All non-paintable surfaces are protected. We can move furniture, no problem. You take care of the delicates and heirlooms.
Prime & Repair
We will assess the condition of the current paint on your cabinets to determine whether it can be painted over or will need to be stripped. Any holes or damage will be repaired, doors will be removed, and then we will sand and prime your cabinets for painting.
Clean
We continually vacuum and keep a clean work environment.
Paint
The framing is first, then the backs of the doors. Once the back is dry, we move on to the front. While the doors dry, we paint the body of your cabinets.

Inspect

We will clean the basement floor with a mild solution of muriatic acid to remove any oil, grease, and dirt. Cracks will be repaired. A two-part water-based system will normally work just fine on a concrete floor. PaintPositive has extensive experience in bringing cement floors to life.
