Interior Painting Process

With more than 75 years of combined experience, PaintPositive has expertise in all facets of Interior Painting.

Our professional team of interior painters is very cognizant of the great responsibility and privilege of working in your home.

Start

After an initial meeting, PaintPositive provides a written scope and estimate. We also provide complimentary color consultations. Once colors/sheen are selected, we schedule a time to begin work. We stay on your job and finish as efficiently as possible to minimize disruptions.

Surface Preparation

We prepare the worksite with complete covering of all floors and furniture. All non-paintable surfaces are protected. We can move furniture, no problem. You take care of the delicates and heirlooms.

Prime & Repair

All substrate thoroughly repaired, and primed. This creates an amazing finish. Whether a hole in the wall, water damage or just nail holes, we can repair and make them disappear.

Clean

We continually vacuum and keep a clean work environment.

Paint

Ceilings are first, then trim, then walls. This is our typical sequence when brushing and rolling.

Customer Care

We communicate regularly, we show up on time, we are quiet, and we take pride in delivering exceptional service and quality to our valued customers.

Inspect

We do a final walk-thru to ensure all details and expectations are satisfied.

Textured & Faux

Want to do more with your walls than just add a fresh coat of paint? A creative and decorative faux finish might be just what you need. Faux finishing, which is also known as faux painting, is a special painting technique that is used to replicate the appearance of other types of materials or finishes. Color blocking, distressing, dragging, marveling, ragging, sponging, and stippling will be amazing.

Eco-Friendly

PaintPositive is committed to your health and planet earth. We can provide use of non-toxic paints, which means a healthier home and leaves a lower impact on the environment; while maintaining a high standard of quality that will last for years to come.

Garage & Basement Floors

Let’s face it. Garage floors and basement floors get dirty. We will check to see if the floor is damp. If it is, then you have moisture related issues that will have to be addressed first. We will clean the basement floor with a mild solution of muriatic acid to remove any oil, grease, and dirt. Cracks will be repaired. A two part water based system will normally work just fine on a concrete floor. PaintPositive has extensive experience in bringing cement floors to life.

Wallpaper Removal

Wallpaper can easily become outdated or damaged. If your wallpaper is beginning to look drab or just doesn’t fit your style anymore, make sure you turn PaintPositive for removal services. While it may seem like a simple weekend DIY job, wallpaper removal can quickly become a costly project.

Drywall & Plaster Repair

Water can damage drywall in homes and offices throughout our area. If water damage is ignored, the drywall may not be usable again. It may need to be replaced, and that can be very costly. Bear in mind that wet drywall is a health threat. Mold can thrive on it. Therefore, drywall repair should be a top priority.

Window Cleaning

Your windows don’t only allow you to look out at the world beyond your home – they also allow sunshine to pour in, which can provide warmth and light. This is why keeping your windows crystal clear and clean is so important. Over time, dirt and debris on your windows can become smudged when in contact with moisture and condensation. Not only can this make it difficult to see the view outside your home, but it can also negatively affect the look and feel of your home’s ambiance. Fresh paint and clean windows go hand-in-hand.
